    You can buy the plan on the same day immediately after purchasing gadgets.

  • From where we can buy the plan?

    You can buy the plan directly from our official website/app or from our authorized merchants or from iDPP office.

    You can buy the plan for mobile phones, laptops & tablets/iPad.

  • What is the coverage period of the plan?

    Active coverage tenor of the plan is one year from the date of purchase.

  • What is the cost of Damage Protection Plan?

    The cost of Damage Protection Plan for laptop is 5% of total bill amount and for mobile is 7.5% of total bill amount.

  • Is the plan renewable?

    Yes, the plan is renewable up to 5 years (for laptop) and 4 years (for mobile) with fold of 1 year at a time.

  • What if someone else damages the gadget?

    If damage is accidental then iDPP will claim the damage and provide coverage.

  • How many gadgets can we insure under one policy?

    You can insure a single gadget under one policy.

  • What is display protection plan?

    A display protection plan is a policy specifically designed to cover the repair or replacement costs associated with accidental damage to the display of your mobile device.

  • Are there any limitations to display damage coverage?

    Yes, two time service is allowed in display protection plan.

  • Is accidental water damage to the display covered?

    Yes, accidental water damage to the display is covered.

  • What is the cost of Display Protection Plan?

    The cost of Display Protection Plan is 5% if total bill amount.

  • Where can we get our display repaired at ?

    You can get your display repaired at the company’s authorized service center (i.e., iDPP service center).

  • Are manufacturing defects of display covered under display protection plan?

    Yes, manufacturing defects of display covered under display protection plan.

    Yes, your display protection plan covers the damage caused by dropping your device accidentally.

  • Can we purchase a display protection plan separately if we didn't buy it at the time of purchasing we mobile device?

    Yes, you can purchase display protection plan within 1 week after purchasing your device after the verification of company's staff.

  • How do we raise a damage claim?

    Our claim process is totally paperless and easy. You can directly claim your damage through our official website www.idpp.com.np

  • What documents do we need to provide when making a claim?

    The required document may include the soft/hard copy of purchase receipt and any proof of damage.

  • How long does it take to process a claim?

    3 days’ time period will be taken to process the claim. In case of non-availability of damaged parts in Nepal, service center will take 30 days’ time period.

  • Are there any charges during damage repair requests?

    Yes, NRs.99 should be charged as a claim filing fee.
