IT Damage Protection Plan (iDPP) is a scheme, arranged by IT Damage Protection Plan (P) ltd for gadgets repair & maintenance services supported by its authorized service centers. iDPP Service Center is the authorized service center of the company. This plan has following terms and conditions shown below or as amended through written communication by the company.
iDPP covers the repair and replacement of your gadgets as defined in the policy schedule against damage caused by accidental drops or other similar events that result damage in your gadgets. It doesn't cover damage due to theft, loss, intentional misuse, or cosmetic damage that do not reduce/temper the gadget's functionality.
The plan is available to all the customers who purchase the eligible gadgets from our official website/app, authorized Merchants/Partners and from our iDPP office.
The plan must be purchase on the same day of procurement of gadget.
Valid tax invoice should be intact.
Active coverage tenor of iDPP is one year from the date of purchase. The plan is renewable for 4 years (for mobile) and 5 years (for laptop) with fold of 1 year at a time.
The plan is non-refundable.
The plan is transferable in case of change in ownership within one year.
For Mobile:
➢ In case of motherboard/display/touch/touch glass damage, customer need to bear 20% of the cost.
For Laptop:
➢ In case of housing/motherboard/display damage, customer need to bear 20% of the cost.
Note:- The cost will be 7-12% less than the cost of brand’s authorized service center and the product will be the market’s original product
Any incomplete, insufficient or failed transaction to company, (at the time of purchase or claim) shall automatically deemed void.
Any claim where the gadget serial number has been tempered by any means shall not be valid.
False declaration of any information at the time of procuring the plan will automatically declare void and will not be eligible for claims.

In the situation where gadget replacement needed, customers will receive a same or similar type gadget worth the amount equals or similar ranges to the net depreciated value of the gadget.
Example:
Calculated as: Bill/Invoice amount – Cumulative Depreciation = Depreciated Value of Gadget
# Cumulative Depreciation means the standard depreciation amount for the no. of year used @ rate of 25% per year for mobile and 20% per year for laptop. Less than 6 months of use shall be calculated monthly and more than 6 months of use shall be considered as full year for calculation of depreciation.
(e.g. Here customer have to pay 30% of the total price and remaining 70% will be covered by iDPP. If the customer does not want replacement and ask for the cash payment, he/she/they will receive cash payment after deducting 40% which will be 60% of the depreciated value of the gadget.)
